Four
Paws Adventures is owned and operated by Melanie Barnes. Melanie
is a dog mom of one spoiled mutt and was a pet sitter from 2000
- 2006. While pet sitting, Melanie saw a need for a professional
dog walking service with the emphasis on exercise. She decided
to get out of pet "sitting" and into dog adventures
in 2006. In late 2006, she quit her day job and now focuses exclusively
on canine fitness and fun! Melanie has been providing South East
Valley dogs with exciting canine excursions ever since!
Jamie
DeBenedetto, North Valley Pack Leader
Jamie
DeBenedetto is a dog mom of two and a self proclaimed hiking addict.
In 1999 she merged her love for dogs and the outdoors by creating
the Canine
Hiking Club of AZ. Jamie has been a professional dog trainer since 1995. Since 2007 she has been leading
hikes and teaching outdoor skills for the City of Peoria's Outdoor
Adventure Program and she is certified in Wilderness First Aid.
In October 2008, Jamie began offering North Valley dogs the Four
Paws Adventures experience!
Lisa Thomas, East Valley Pack Leader
Lisa Thomas is a dog mom to one very special girl. Lisa has been a professional dog trainer since 2003, is certified in canine kinesthetics, and has served as a volunteer and board member for a local rescue organization for nearly 10 years. As an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for dogs, Four Paws Adventures is a natural fit. In June 2010, Lisa joined Four Paws Adventures excited to expand our East Valley pack!
All Four Paws Adventures Pack Leaders are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. Four Paws
